The National Heart Foundation of Australia has contacted G. & L. Yuen Pty Ltd ABN 91 010 010 456, trading as Yuen's Market Trading Co, in relation to its use of a logo on its Pandaroo brand of products that features a white tick inside a red circle which strongly resembles the Heart Foundation tick.

The Heart Foundation has not approved Yuen's Market Trading Co's products as being compliant with the Heart Foundation Tick nutritional criteria.

Yuen's Market Trading Co had no intention of misleading or deceiving consumers into believing that Yuen's Market Trading Co's products were endorsed or approved by the Heart Foundation.

Yuen's Market Trading Co apologises to all customers who were erroneously led to believe that the Pandaroo brand of products is approved or endorsed by the Heart Foundation.

Yuen's Market Trading Co is committed to cooperating with the Heart Foundation and has voluntarily agreed with the Heart Foundation to remove its red and white tick logo from its products, advertisements and websites. Yuen's Market Trading Co wishes to resolve any consumer confusion by clarifying that Yuen's Market Trading Co's products are not endorsed or approved by the Heart Foundation.
