Yuen's Market Retail Division was established when it started its first Asian Supermarket in 1980 when doors opened to the public in the prime location of Brisbane's Chinatown in Fortitude Valley.

While still catering heavily for the Asian community, the stores' customer base has grown over the years as the popularity of Asian cuisine has increased and is now appealing to a broad cross section of the Brisbane population.

With more consumers embracing authentic Asian flavours, Yuen's Market Trading Company opened a second and larger retail store at Sunnybank on Brisbane's south side.

Both stores are now firmly established as leading retail locations for authentic Asian food product.
